This script also includes an advanced timeout function, which causes the audio stream to stop after a given time, such as an hour, a day, a week, or a month, and forces your visitors to return to your website before they can continue listening once again! This is an awesome way to control your streaming audio based traffic! As if that weren't enough, there are added security features to protect the actual location of your MP3 files, so they cannot be manually downloaded by your visitors. Pretty spectacular ey?

AmpJuke

Manage and stream your music from a web server using a browser. AmpJuke is a PHP-script that runs on Linux/Unix using Apache and MySQL. Once installed, AmpJuke can stream music to one or more remote clients (f.ex. PC's) on a LAN and/or the internet. Any program that can handle M3U-playlists (f.ex. WinAmp, Microsoft Media Player, Amarok and/or XMMS) can play the streamed music. AmpJuke focuses on intuitive navigation as well as speed. It features real-time MP3/OGG streaming from different audio formats. Download tracks or a whole album in one zip file. It is also possible to transcode music to another format. As bonus it features an easy way to record cd's and create pdf cd-covers.

MP3 Management

This package can be used to build a catalog MP3 files in a MySQL database. It can traverse a given directory to find MP3 files. For each MP3 file that is found, it extracts its ID3 tags and adds an entry in a MySQL database. The database records are indexed by keyword specified in the ID3 tags. The class also extracts 20 second clips of each MP3 file and stores in a sub-directory named clips. The duration of the clips is configurable. The class copies any corrupted MP3 files to a sub-directory named corrupted.

The killer iTunes app that you didn’t know you couldn’t live without is here! Even better, it’s FREE! Free as in beer, not free as in speech. PHP iRemote is a set of PHP scripts that, with a properly configured PHP installation and HTTP server, allow you to control iTunes from any internet-connected or networked device (depending on server and firewall configuration). Sorry, it CAN get technical. No installer, not for the faint of heart. This scripts are optimized for cellphone screens, but will work from other computers, PSPs, DSs, iPhones, etc. This 1.3 release features play/pause, skip tracks, volume control, track ratings, auto-refreshes, album art, playlists, shuffle, repeat, and an iTunes-style search for playback of artists, albums, or specific songs. NOTE: This uses the Windows COM API for iTunes. While it may be possible to get this to work under another platform, I can’t really fathom how you’d go about doing that. You’re on your own.

DVD Trader

With the DVD Trader you can create the largest free movie library in the world.A reservation is a way for a user to indicate they want to borrow a DVD (i.e. have the DVD checked out to them). The borrower reserves the DVD, the owner of that DVD then can check out the DVD to the borrower. A quick check out allows an owner to check out a DVD to a borrower without a pre-existing reservation. Once the DVD is checked out to a borrower, an owner can send reminders to that borrower if the DVD is overdue. Once the borrower returns the DVD to the owner, the owner will then 'check in' the DVD via the website.

GMTT Record Directory

Allows users to signup and keep an online profile of their music collection. Includes all the features you'd expect from such an application, including add, edit, and delete records. Furthermore, users collections are available to view to the public. Information such as Artist, Album, Record Label, and Format are stored in the database. This script is very easy to expand upon, and frequent updates are expected. There is also a fully functioning demo.

GMTT Radio You Control

Radio You Control is a complete DJ Free internet radio solution where the listner (or site visitor) chooses the music. MP3 or WMA files are streamed from your server in windows media player. The user gets to choose the music from a listbox and ID3v1 tags are shown about MP3 files. The advantages of forcing the listner to stream the music is that you are not offering illegal MP3 downloads. The script generates m3u files with a random name, which are then forced into a download.
