Using a combination of shell scripts and cron, CPSafe allows you to automatically backup all your CPanel sites and databases and offload them to your FTP server. Unlike other similar solutions, CPSafe does not require you to enable backups within CPanel. CPSafe utilizes the CPanel web interface and wget to generate the backup files on the fly -- this saves valuable disk space versus storing daily CPanel backups on your server.
