This is a simple AJAX / ASP script that returns the longitude and latitude from a UK postcode or street name. The code has been written for the Google map API and is an extension to the geocode.

This is a simple script called Simple Search. To set this script up just enter a DSN at the top of the Default.asp page and the rest is cake. What this does is once you enter in the DSN, the script will list all tables and views in the database, select a table or view and you can then search on the fields contained in the database.
This is a simple ASP script that allows you to search one or more fields in a database based on one or more entered keywords. If you enter no criteria, all results are displayed. You can enter keywords separated by spaces or by commas. You can also choose the fields to be searched and the type of search.
This script uses the Microsoft Indexing Service object for all queries. The index service will pull MP3 tag data out of the files if they are named properly. If no tag exists the script degrades nicely. Searches are fast and you can customize your index service to update as you deem appropriate. I left mine at the default settings. SantryIndexer is an index server script used for indexing hard documents on your Web server. Just drop this script into the root of your Website, it will then list all the physical folders located off the root, allowing you to browse the various sub directories. Then using indexing services it will list a summary of the documents contained in the folder. ASP SiteSearch provides search engine capabilities to website. Developed to easily mold into any web design, you have many capabilities/choices in setting up the application on your site:
- Filter for file extensions that you want searched
- Exclude directories from being searched
- Define number of results per page
- Show/hide URL of page in search results
- Search meta tags (or not)
- Optionally use graphical paging buttons text links.
Here are more specifics:
ASP SiteSearch is for static pages; web pages that don't already have database interaction. It will not work in conjunction with other ASP code that communicates with a database.
No database or data connection is used. This tool searches your pages in realtime, therefore the performance of the search is affected by how many pages are being searched as well as the capabilities of the web server. ASP SiteSearch is not recommended for use on a budget web server, but you will not have performance problems if used on a good web host.
