Counters related scripts & softwares
Counter Manager allows you to offer a counter service for your users. Offers password protection, checking to make sure that no one else has the same username. automatically shows the users the code to put on their pages and even e-mails the webmaster notifying him that a new account has been set up.
CountLogCreator sets up your own counter and page logging on as many pages with as many styles as you wish. CountLogCreator does it all for you automatically within your browser and without any configuration or setup. It automatically creates a sample HTML page containing the code. You can place your logo (or any other image) below your counter with a link to any URL. It includes the superb AXS Site Tracker as logging module. Requirement: SSI required.

Check the number of users on your web site at any given time. This script also shows where the users came from and what their last page they loaded on your server is (so you can see what they are upto!). Easy to install with full log file.

and resolves IP addresses of visitors.

When the visitor opens your page he activates
"3.cgi" (in the "v"-folder) which accesses v.cgi !
v.cgi can extract publicly available IP information(location) as well it counts your single pages.The hits are recorded in count1.txt to be processed for accummulating additional information the hits are finally stored in a readable form in "count2.txt".
check.cgi uses count2.txt and enables you to see all hits in a webbrowser. In order for you to run the scripts, you should replace "home.tv/cgi-bin" with the domain name you are going to use. You may ask your webhost-provider. It is always convenient if you can test the software on your own computer. For this purpose the scripts may reside in: "http://localhost/cgi-bin /v .... ".

The Stats counter is a page counter that doesn't require SSI. It is invisible and collects data from your visitors like Screen resolution, Browser version/type, operating system and refering pages (and unique/non unique page counts). All of which is displayed in a password protected admin page. It can also capture data often blocked by software firewalls.

This perl script will display how long time has passed since somebody viewed a given page. You need to have SSI or can be used together with another perl script if you know how to port it.
Another counter Perl script, yet this one is quick and not seen by your visitor. Hidden within an image url, this script stays behind the scenes counting your visitors. Running the script direct displays all the stats for the page counters along with showing the Total, Most and Least days and each day graphed. Stats are kept by total number since day started and tracked for the number of days you desire. As new days are added, older ones are removed only storing the number of days you set.
A CGI script to show the number of visitors to your website within the past X minutes, hours or days. If the SSI tag is only placed at the main page of the website, it displays: "There were X visitors reaching this page since the past Y minutes". If the tag is placed on every page and Y is set to 1 minute or lower, then it would be quite accurate to say (since the date/time is updated on every reload): "There are currently X unique visitors at this website".
Track your visitor's web activity. See where they came from, what they looked at and when they did it, all in real time. Can also act as a basic hit counter. Our windows system tray utility program will also let you know when you have visitors to your website.
