For every form field you can choose between different validations like checking for a valid email address, a none empty field, numbers or no validation. No hidden form fields are required. You can setup everything that is needed at the LI-Formmail page. For every form you have, you can set a different email address to which the entry needs to be send. The same is true for the redirection address after a succesful entry. If one or more field entries are not according to the validation you set for those fields, the user will get a list with field names that need to be corrected.
