Countdowns related scripts & softwares
There are 3 scripts included in this package. The first countsdown in minutes to zero and alerts the user / redirects. The second does the same thing but can count down hours as well. The last one contains multiple countdowns which can be setup with different times, set to start at the same of different times. This is particularly useful if you are writing an online test as you can determine the current time and what happens when the timer runs out. It is cross platform and has been tested using Opera 9, Netscape Navigator 8.1, Mozilla Firefox 1.5.0.4 and Internet Explorer 6 SP2.
This is a "universal" count down script that lets you count down to absolute events whereby the target date/time needs to be specific to a certain time zone, such as the date/time of the next Solar Eclipse.
A javascript countdown function that updates in real time and formats beautifully. It is coded to be almost identical to my PHP Countdown function in usage and format.

The script currently gets its current date from the client, a truer way of implementing a countdown to any particular date would be to somehow obtain it from the server.
