The scripts are based on the lessons in "Think like computer scientist" and Guido's Solitaire game. The card images are borrowed from PySol directories. This is a simple and fun game to play for kids of all ages.
This script is written in Python with Tkinter interface. It has full scientific and some business calculation functions.

Merchant Empires is a PHP/Python/PostgreSQL-based multiplayer, web-based game of space exploration and economic competition. It is a game of strategy, role-playing, combat, and diplomacy. Merchant Empires is loosely based on both Trade Wars and Space Merchant.
Use the BarGraph class to create horizontal / vertical bar graphs, progress bars and faders. You can create simple graphs and even grouped bar graphs with legends, add labels, change colors etc. No graphics or graphical libraries required.

LinkChecker is a Python script for checking your HTML documents for broken links. Features include: recursive checking, multithreaded, output can be colored or normal text, HTML, SQL, CSV or a GML sitemap graph, additionally reports download time for HTML pages, HTTP/1.1 and 1.0, HTTPS, FTP, mailto:, Gopher, Telnet and local file links are supported, Javascript links are currently ignored, restrict link checking to your local domain, HTTP proxy support, give username/password for HTTP and FTP authorization, robots.txt exclusion protocol support, and internationalization support.
This CGI scripts checks the state of links on a single, valid, HTML page on the net. It can be run online, and has a neat interface. Try it out!
Mailman is Python-based software to help manage email discussion lists, much like Majordomo and Smartmail. Unlike most similar products, Mailman gives each mailing list a web page, and allows users to subscribe, unsubscribe, etc. over the web. Even the list manager can administer his or her list entirely from the web. Mailman also integrates most things people want to do with mailing lists, including archiving, mail-to-news gateways, multiple list owners and moderators, and so on.
