phpJSO (PHP JavaScript Obfuscator) compresses JavaScripts to one line, sometimes to under 30% of the original size. We have compressed 3000+ line/86KB programs to under 25KB.
It works by removing whitespace and comments, like most obfuscators do. Then it uses a special algorithm to further compress code without losing any functionality. phpJSO is completely safe and doesn't require you make any changes to your code.
PclZip library offers compression and extraction functions for Zip formatted archives (WinZip, PKZIP).

Win2Nix Filename Case Converter is a utility used to convert a website from a Windows server to a Linux or Unix server.
Any file extension is supported. Default extensions are .HTML .HTM .PHP .ASP .TXT. Changes references in HREF and SRC tags to lowercase. Leaves references to remote locations intact (http://, ftp://, etc). Renames all files and folders to lowercase. Reports any problems encountered during the conversion process.
DirektorGUI resembles to WindowsXP command-line util `tree´, as it gegenerates tree like filelist. But it dosen't generate just plain ascii list (although this is one option) but expandable DHTML menutree too. Script uses WinBinder extension and contains nice GUI.
Great for clearing out large directories. Orignally made to speed importing of images into an image gallery. Easy setup.. just edit 4 lines at the top with you path, new dir, number of files per dir, and an optional folder prefix.
This script rearrange lines in text file. You can choose to remove duplicate lines, sort lines from a to z or from z to a, combine two file and delete duplicate lines, or filter and delete duplicate lines from a file to another. A small but useful wrapper function for include(). It allows the same include statement to be used in all the files in a website, regardless of which folder they are located in. This is handy for sites that are hosted on servers that have PHP open_basedir protection enabled. This tends to cause calls like include("/folder/file.inc"); to generate error messages.
This is a script written in php which gives the functionality of the deltree.exe program on other operating systems.
It currently supports all Unix platforms (altough I must admit, it's only been tested on Fedora Core)
The script is made in such a way that translations will be easy and that it can also easily support your os.
What makes this script better then its dos counterpart is that
1. it defaults to moving the files and directories to the trasbin of the current user
2. it requires human confirmation to actually delete the files
(root needs to confirm twice)
This utility also written in php resets the contents of a file or list of files.
Backups are made by default so the program can be considdered fool proof. You need to
confirm if used with the option --no-backup. Also when used with a root account, an
additional confirmation is asked.
If a specified file does not exists, it will be created unless this behaviour is
turned of with the --no-create option.
You can specify what string is being put in the file.
The program will refuse to work on directories. But if needed, just go to the dir
and type empty *
