Picture Gallery PHP Script helps you to display the pictures, photos in your website in an organised way. You can display the available pictures with the use of MySQL and without using the directory read function. The pictures are displayed in an organised manner like the number of pictures to be displayed per page, number of columns to be displayed. Even the users can select the option of selecting the number of pictures per page, columns per page. The easy navigation of First, Lst, Preveious and Next provides a fine functioning. With the use of database the webmaster can choose which pictures to display and which not without deleting any pictures from the directory. Even the titles can be stored in to display.
This is a simple one-file gallery. It scans the set folder automatic and lists the folders inside.
Then if you select a folder it lists the images and files inside.
It works on both PHP version 5 and 4,.
It creates thumbnails automatic using GD when the folder is selected the first time.
It supports the imagetypes .jpg(.JPG), .jpeg(.JPEG), .jpe(.JPE), .png(.PNG), and .gif(.GIF). Very easy to embed into any homepage. More info can be found inside the readme.txt.
UPDATED 2007-03-14: Bug fix done and version 0.7 released. In earlier versions it was possible to enter anything in the URL ?f=... and get a bunch of error outputs. That is now fixed.
Version 0.8 released: Fixed a major exploit where people where able to get access to other folders than the ones containing images. Thanks to Major_Meatbone for the fix.
Version 1.0 released: Due to popular demands I have added so the gallery works on both PHP version 5 and version 4.
You often have the problem that you got some photos or images you want to show to your friends but don't know how to do this in an easy and nice way.
The solution is µPhoto: Just upload the images into an folder, upload the one-file script in the same folder and call the gallery with your browser. The cache is generated automatically and you have your own gallery without installing anything.
The gallery is based on PHP with the GD2 Lib to generate the thumbnails. The gallery is split on different pages so you do not have to load all thumbnails at once. If you click on a thumbnail you have a full-size version of the image and the possibility to switch with just one click to the next - already prefetched - image.
You can configure the script optionally to give it your own touch.
