Read .PSD files (Adobe Photoshop Documents) using only PHP4 or PHP5 and GD. comes with imagecreatefrompsd(- function that returns an image handle just like the native PHP imagecreatefrom functions; The script supports documents from Adobe Photoshop 3.0 up to version CS3, where compatibility has been enabled. Class is also usefull for retrieving basic data from Photoshop document.
You can use this script for a portfolio gallery or to see the contents of a .psd - file where Photoshop is not available...

I have built a tool which enables you to create images on the fly, from your web browser. This tool takes text from the browser and super-imposes it over a colored image. You can select the color of the text and the background color. Use the tool to generate the image, then just copy and paste it - or let techie-blogs host your image (see description from the tool).

This little utility lets you edit 'notes', which are text files that are outputted to images on-the-fly, so you can include an image with some dynamic text in your forum signature. You can edit these notes at any time, and the image changes with it, too.
This class can be used to generate a GIF animation from a set of individual frames in GIF image format.
The class takes as input parameters the list of GIF frame image files, the animation delay between each frame, the horizontal and vertical offset of each frame image.
It combines all image frames and generates a single animated GIF file using only PHP code without using the GD library or other image extensions or external programs .
The animation background may be set to a given color or be made transparent.
One of the greatest features of PHP is the integration with the GD library, making possible to dynamically generate images in several formats.
However, PHP GD functions do not implement animated GIF image generation, despite the GD library supports GIF animations since 2004.
This class provides an alternative solution for GIF animations from individual images without using the PHP GD library functions.
